Founded in 1980 by the Hoban family's unwavering passion for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, we've spent over 40+ years honing our craft with complete engine rebuilds for 45", Knuckleheads, Panheads, Shovelheads, Evolutions, Twin Cams, and Milwaukee 8 Engines. This journey of knowledge and experience led to the birth of Darkhorse Motor Company's Crankworks division, dedicated to delivering unparalleled lower end services/products and providing the unshakable foundation for top engine builds, both on the track and the street. Our Hoban Brothers Racing Team has seamlessly merged with America's premier Road racing series, racing on Harley-Davidson & Buell motorcycles for 25+ years, celebrating multiple victories and podium finishes. Our most recent feats include competing with a Harley-Davidson Road Glide in the Moto-America King of the Baggers racing series and the Bagger Racing League.
